1. BOOKING PROCESS:
After you contact us by telephone or email to make a booking, we first of all contact the course where you wish to play to determine availability. When we have this information, we will confirm pricing and times with you. If you wish to proceed with the booking, we will take payment (through credit card or bank transfer) and send you booking confirmation in the form of an email. This confirmation email will represent a contract between all person named on the booking confirmation and J-UK Golf Limited.
You are required to make full payment for your booking at the time of the booking. All payments are in pounds sterling.
3. (A) CANCELLATION AT GOLF COURSES OTHER THAN THE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE, ROYAL ST. GEORGE’S AND ROYAL CINQUE PORTS:
The cancellation policy outlined below covers all persons referred to in the booking confirmation:
・Cancellations following payment but 72 hours or more prior to the commencement of play will not incur a cancellation fee.
・Cancellations less than 72 hours prior the commencement of play, including no shows on the day of play, will incur a cancellation penalty of 100% in all cases.
3. (B) CANCELLATION AT THE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE, ROYAL ST. GEORGE’S AND ROYAL CINQUE PORTS GOLF COURSES:
The cancellation policies outlined below cover all persons referred to in the booking confirmation and are based on the individual cancellation policies of each golf course:
・The Buckinghamshire: Cancellations (including any reduction in player numbers) following payment but 72 hours or more prior to the commencement of play will incur a cancellation fee of £25 per player; Cancellations less than 72 hours prior the commencement of play, including no shows on the day of play, will incur a cancellation penalty of 100% in all cases.
・Royal St. George’s and Royal Cinque Ports: Cancellations (including any reduction in player numbers) following payment but 30 days or more prior to the commencement of play will incur a cancellation fee of 10% of the total payment; Cancellations (including any reduction in player numbers) between 15 and 29 days prior to the commencement of play will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total payment; Cancellations less than 14 days prior the commencement of play, including no shows on the day of play, will incur a cancellation penalty of 100% in all cases.
The amendment policy outlined below covers all persons named in the booking confirmation:
・Amendments outside of 72 hours of the commencement of play will incur no fee but please note that all amendments are subject to availability.
・Amendments within 72 hours of the commencement of play are generally not possible but we will always try to accommodate any reasonable request. Please note that changes to starting times, etc. are entirely at the discretion of the golf course. Please also note that prices may be higher as a result of the amendment and that you will be required to pay any additional charges.
5. CANCELLATION/ AMENDMENT BY US:
On very rare occasions, we may be forced to cancel or amend your booking. Reasons for this may include extreme weather resulting in the closure of the golf course, extreme weather making travel to the golf course difficult or dangerous, or double bookings by the golf course. In the case of extreme weather, cancellation may occur on the day of play while in the case of double bookings, we will be able to inform you within two weeks of the start of play. If we cancel your booking, you will be given a complete refund or offered an alternative course/ tee time/ date. If we amend your booking, you will have the option of choosing instead to receive a full refund. However, in the event that you reserve a buggy and the golf course bans to use of buggies on the day of play (for example, due to heavy rain), you will be entitled to a refund of the buggy fee only and will not have the option of receiving a full refund of the entire booking. Please note that if the golf course closes after you have started your round, any refund will be entirely at the discretion of the golf course. In the case of double bookings, please understand that all golf courses reserve the right to alter or cancel any booking.
Following payment, you will receive an email with the details of your schedule along with an invoice confirming your payment. We do not issue vouchers for you to present to the golf course because we have staff at the course on the day of play to handle check-in procedures on your behalf.
7. MEETING TIMES/ PLACES:
Any meeting times/ places stated in your email booking confirmation must be strictly adhered to. Please note that if you are late or if you wait in the wrong place, you will not be entitled to a refund and J-UK Golf Limited cannot be held responsible or liable for any loss, expense or inconvenience that you suffer as a result.
Children (under 18 years of age on the day of travel) must always be accompanied by an adult. Junior (child) prices are for golfers under 18 years of age on the day of play except for the Grove Resort, which classifies juniors as under 16 years of age.
Non-golfers who accompany golfers must make the appropriate payment (see: https://j-uk-golf.com/non-golfers/ ) and be named on the booking confirmation email as a customer.
Personal/ travel insurance is not included. We strongly recommends that you arrange your own travel insurance prior to travel.
11. ACCIDENT/ LOSS/ INCONVENIENCE:
J-UK Golf Limited cannot accept responsibility or liability for loss, damage or inconvenience unless it is caused by our negligence.
If you have a complaint please inform the J-UK Golf Limited staff member at the course as soon as possible and we will do our utmost to rectify the matter quickly and discreetly. If you are uncomfortable complaining directly to the staff member, please contact Nagashima by calling the direct mobile number given to you at the time of booking.
